Review: Color My Cookie Kit

When I told my boys we would be receiving this Color My Cookie kit, then checked the mail everyday looking for the box. Who doesn’t love cookies? And who doesn’t love decorating cookies? The day finally arrived when the cookies got here!
The cookies arrive in a very sturdy box, packed very tightly with some shredded paper to prevent broken cookies. All of our cookies were completely put together upon arrival. I was pretty impressed!
Color My Cookie makes a few different cookie decorating sets. We happened to get the Ho Ho Ho set. Each set includes everything you need to decorate your cookies. The cookie sets all include 6 ready to decorate cookies, sprinkles, at least one tube of icing (some sets include more), paintbrushes, a paint palette cookie, and assorted items to complete your individual set. Our Ho Ho Ho set also included a fondant belt buckle and gold cookie paint. We had a paint palette, 2 Santa hats, 2 Santa belts, and 2 friendly reindeer cookies in our kit.

Once our cookies arrived, we got everything set up and ready to go. On the back of the cute letter from Chef Sam & Nancy, the owners of the company, is a QR code to scan for a cookie decorating tutorial for the specific set we received. After watching that we were ready to go! I do have to say I am pretty sure their cookies turned out better decorated because of watching this tutorial.
