Who out there knows that 4th graders get free access into all the National Parks? Actually, due to COVID closures, it is currently open to 5th graders as well. That means for National Parks that only charge fees per car, your entire car gets in for free! Go HERE for more information! Whenever we vacation, we normally do try an visit any National Parks we can. This year, we especially made it a priority since we had our 4th/5th grade pass for our son.

This summer, we had the opportunity to introduce our children to Yosemite National Park. This is one of my favorite National Parks. The scenery is just breath taking. Our kids had watched the documentary Free Solo about Alex Honnold who climbed El Capitan WITHOUT any ropes! Standing at the bottom of the huge granite cliff really made an impression on my boys.

Visiting more National Parks is definitely a priority for our family. We received this sweet book to document each of our visits to any National Parks by the Anderson Design Group! Each page has a beautifully designed image for each National Park. There is also a space to take notes from your visit. There is a checklist of the amazing places to visit at each National Park. Once you visit, there is a spot to place a sticker from the back of the book. I personally can’t wait to fill this little guide book up! Get yourself a copy directly from their website or on Amazon.com! It is reasonably priced at $34.95.

Not only did Anderson Design Group send us this perfect guide book, they also sent us our own National Park Adventure Game. The boys have really enjoyed being able to play this game together and learn about all the neat National Parks as they play! The game is simple enough that the boys figured it out, but also challenging enough that no one wins easily. Go grab your own board game set HERE!

On top of their willingness to share these amazing items they have designed, the Anderson Design Group has also very kindly sent us some items to give away! We have a beautiful coffee table book with 59 illustrated images of the different National Parks. Then, there is a coloring book with 62 pages to color for each National park. The last item is a deck of playing cards! My boys really want to keep this one for themselves! The contest will run for the next weeks, so be sure to enter! Follow this link to enter the giveaway!
