During this unique time in our lives with social distancing, stay at home orders, and no school, parents everywhere are needing to be extra creative in keeping our kids busy and still expanding their minds! We had gotten this Groovy Lab in a Box to participate with and review a couple months ago and found this to be the perfect time to pull it out and fully experience all it had to offer. I will say that this kit was definitely aimed at the older elementary aged student. My oldest, who is 10, was able to figure out everything on his own and he truly enjoyed it. If your children are more science minded, they also might enjoy it at a little younger age, but the boxes are designed for ages 8 and up. It is much higher thinking levels than some of the other boxes we’ve had a chance to try out. For us, with Aiden out of school, was perfect! These boxes have a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) focus.

Each box includes every single thing needed to complete the box activities including a lab notebook, a beyond the box project, and an engineering design challenge. Subscriptions can be ordered month-to-month, 3 month, 6 month, or 12 months at a time. And, with the code STAYHOME, you’ll receive an additional 10% off the month-to-month subscription. The longer your subscription, the better deal you will get! There is always free shipping.

If you choose to purchase each month separately, you can actually choose which box you’d like to receive. To read about each of the box options you can choose from, click the link below:
