Review: Newverest Scratch off map

In the last few years, our family has become more intentional with creating experiences and memories with our boys. Traveling has moved up the priority list, especially now that they are all a little older and easier to travel with. Due to our limited budget, the majority of our travel takes place in the form of road trips! As a result, we have traveled through many states with our boys. Growing up, my family took a lot of long road trips as well, so this form of travel is very comfortable for me.
As a way to keep track of which states we’ve traveled to, I knew I wanted something we could display in our home for the boys to see. After many Google and Pinterest searches for ideas, I found the idea of a scratch off map and just knew that is how I wanted to track our travels! Sturdy pick
Each Newverest map comes packaged safely in this cardboard tube. A set of sticky dots to attach it to the wall and map pins also come with the maps. Our two favorite pieces that came with it was the sturdy silver pick and dust cloth! As the states are scratched off, it creates a bit of a mess, so the dust cloth is perfect for wiping it off. You don’t need anything else to start scratching off states when it first arrives!
The gold, scratch off material was easy enough for all my boys to scratch off, without being so easy that it scratched off without intending to scratch it off. The boys had fun guessing which color each state would be as we went state by state.
Newverest maps ship out very quickly. I’m not sure what the minimum is for free shipping, but it seems each map qualifies. Email notifications for orders received, processed, and shipped are sent out. Communications with the Newverest staff is very timely, if ever needed.
My very favorite part of these maps is the Bucket List included at the bottom of the Trek Scratcher Scratch Off Maps. It was neat to see how many specific places on the list we had visited as a family as well as other fun places to plan to visit in the future!
After scratching off only the states that all four boys have been too, we realized that our family needs to travel a bit more North and the North East to visit some states we haven’t seen yet! Time to start planning another trip, I guess! We hung our map up in the hallway and we all love it! I would highly recommend ordering the map frame along with your map. It comes in black or oak.
Another fun map offered by Newverest is their kid’s edition map. It comes with individual cards for each state for kids to learn a little about each state as they scratch it off.
We are very happy with this map, but now I want to purchase the world map as well! We would love to add the National Park Map and the Baseball Stadium Poster to our collection as well! We just need more wall space!
